Did you ever notice that sometimes you forget things you already know? I don’t know how it happens but, even things I guide my coaching clients to do, that I used to always do, I forget and drop from my habit list. So imagine my surprise when I am met on the road by something I know to be true.

I always say is, “leap and the net will appear,” the only thing is, you have to leap.
I am a writer amongst several other things but, you know time. There is never enough of it to do the things that I want to do so writing gets pushed to the back burner. Sure, I write for others but never for myself. So, this winter when my daughter and I talked about a book we have intended to write since she has been in high school, we highlighted about our lack of time. She has two small kids and I have– not as good an excuse as that, but lets just say an over busy life. We agreed that we would start writing. Who cared if it took us 20 years. We would be writing.
What happened? Well, it is true that we have no time but, since we started the universe has reorganized itself. No, neither of us is less busy, but somehow we are both writing. Not only writing but writing lots. Since mid February, we have written almost 60,000 words.
Today, as I sat organizing some new stuff, I thought, I even have time to post something on my blog. Holy Cow! Time expands and contracts depending on how you use it and what you commit to.
I love this stuff. Apparently you can’t mountain climb and keep one foot on the ground. When you fully commit to something, a door will open. I knew that. I know that. I just love seeing it and realizing it again and again and again.
